Research

My research focuses on developing methods for environmental public health problems with spatial data. In collaboration with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Professor Christopher Zahasky from the Department of Geosciences at UW-Madison, and Professor Chan Park from the Department of Statistics at UIUC, my research follows a progression from (i) descriptive analysis of complex, real-world spatial datasets to (ii) prediction and inference with theoretical guarantee, and computationally efficient algorithms, and to (iii) causal decision-making.
